Volunteer Opportunities

1) Food pickup & deliveries

Job description: Food pickup & deliveries happen on Tues/Thurs from 9am – 12noon. Tasks include: pick up at Wegmans, deliver to area food banks, etc.

2) Deliveries of furniture/household goods

Job description: Assist with furniture deliveries/pickups using the Giving Network van and/or use your own vehicle to pick up/deliver items.

3) Sorting Center Volunteers

Job description: Sorting Center Volunteers work at the Sorting Center in Somerville. Tasks include: putting donated items away, packing outgoing packages, etc.

4) Phone Volunteers

Job description: Phone volunteers check GivingNetwork voicemail, return calls, disburse info via email, etc.
