The Giving Network is an all-volunteer, nonprofit charity that achieves its objectives by working with other organizations, social service agencies, churches, and businesses. The Giving Network serves area families from a diverse tapestry of faith, demographics, and need through:
• recycling donated household goods by sponsoring household goods giveaway days twice a year in conjunction with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church; and
• helping to ease food insecurity in Somerset County by assisting Feeding Hands Food Pantry with food deliveries weekly. Volunteer for weekly food deliveries!
Our next Household Goods Giveaway Day will be in May of 2026.
Do you have household goods to donate to the Giving Network? Here’s the list of items we are collecting. The Giving Network will be accepting donations of these items at its Sorting Center at 45 N. Gaston Avenue, Somerville, NJ on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm. Details will be available soon.
